This superhydrophobic, anti-corrosion, anti-soiling, and antifouling flexible top coat is specifically designed for PVC semi-rigid and flexible surfaces like foam, thermoplastics, and fabric. It’s proven highly resistant to marine and desert environments, as demonstrated by rigorous tests on offshore above-water and underwater installations.
Its special formulation is ideal for renovating inflatable boats and any other PVC variant material. It adheres with a super-strong, flexible bond, becoming part of the surface itself. It withstands weathering, abrasions, and fouling while retaining its original colors. A very high stretch ratio guarantees no cracking or flaking off, even under dynamic movement.

Application Instructions: SCUDOCHROMA™ Top Coat
This top coat is designed for direct application to prepared surfaces.
- Surface Preparation is Key: Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, sanded (to 600 grit), and then pickled with SCUDOPICKLING 100AB. For best results, remember that the flatter and smoother the surface, the better the final finish will be.
- Catalyze and Mix: Prior to application, catalyze the top coat by adding SCUDOCATALYST 8SC (supplied in the correct dosage at 30% by weight). Mix thoroughly before applying it to the prepared surface.
